Our Participation in the PLANCK Mission

The Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) participates in the Consortium of institutes which are designing and building the Low Frequency Instrument (LFI) of the PLANCK mission. In particular, the IAC is involved in the construction of the REBA (Radiometer Electronics Box Assembly).

Planck first light. Preliminary results from the Planck First Light Survey, performed to demonstrate the stability of the instruments and the ability to calibrate them over long periods, indicate that the data quality is excellent.
